Alongside the permanent exhibition there are temporary shows, guided tours and educational programmes for children. Guided visits can be booked in advance; check the photography rules at the entrance.
Azerbaijan Carpet Museum is in Baku at Mikayıl Hüseynov prospekti 28. Entry is inexpensive (level ₼). Many museums close on Mondays — check opening hours before you go, and allow one to two hours for a full visit.
